Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

I recently wrecked my bicycle due to my fork breaking during a ride. I not only encountered physical therapy bills, but my bike is pretty much completely destroyed.

If it wasn't for the defective fork, I never would have wrecked my bike. Can I sue for damages to myself and my bike parts. I also have a witness.

thanks,

SAC

It would be a tough case. You have not really given enough facts to indicate how or why a suit would be a good idea. Do you have an expert witness to testify it is a manufacturing defect and not due to wear and tear or abuse? How much are your bills? You might just have an attorney see if a settlement can be negotiated. Lawsuits (especially this type of lawsuit/defective products cases) are time-consuming and expensive. Good luck.
