That the undersighned,being of lawful age,for sole consideration of

11,000.00to be paid to -----does hereby discharge-----said company and pesons.Does this mean they are going to pay the 11,000.00 or not .I need to know whether to sign the release.

Yes, the language you've quoted would appear to indicate that, but you still might wish to have an attorney review this apparent release and the relevant facts attendant thereto before affixing your "John Hancock" on the dotted line (in case you have not already done so).
