Settlement

An insurance company offers to settle. The Offer is considered by injured party and accepted. Insurance company tenders a settlement check. The injured party realizes the full scope of the settlement offer and then rejects it without accepting the tendered check. Is the injured party bound by the initial acceptance.

It depends on a number of factors. The injured party should get a lawyer now if s/he did not have one to begin with.
