Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia
If someone slaps (hits) you for somethig that you say to them, is that a violation of any law ?
& can you sue them for it ?

Yes, in Virginia it's called assault & battery, which can be both a criminal as well as a civil offense (also known as a tort), and prosecutable in both criminal and civil court (although for the latter to be worthwhile, the plaintiff/victim would normally need to be able to offer credible proof of compensable damages).
