Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia
I have a slip and fall case and the attorney took the case on a contingency. Is he then allowed to
charge me for filing a case which we may never bring to court. Shouldn't he be paying for the filing since he is taking a Percentage of the settlement?

No, in contingency case matters, the client normally is responsible for
paying what are termed "costs" which include court filing fees.
