Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

I was sued and my lawyer negotiated a settlement without me agreeing to it. I never signed it and they placed a lien on my License due to the settlement. Is the settlement valid if I did not sign it?

No, if you did not agree to it and did not authorize your lawyer to act for

you in agreeing to it, then I do not see how this alleged settlement could be valid or enforceable.
