Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

Need Help in Virginia

fired my Attorney and he still wants me to pay him for services that he never render

I want to sue them, they prey on victim tell them they will pay thier bills and they pay half and leave the bills for you too pay off they are liers. They never discuss anything with us they already recieved the check from the insurance and cashed it now they are trying to make a settlement with us that we never discussed . We found out that they had paid by our insurance but we never heard anything from this crooked lawyer What can we do We fired them but they said it's too late because they had already settle without our consent ? And WANTS TO CUT US A CHECK FOR $1'600 FOR A 26,0000 CHECK HE RECIEVED RECIEVED

The conduct you described is unethical and would constitute fraud and legal malpractice. You should contact the Virginia State Bar, and another lawyer. I am refering not only to the settlement, but your lawyer is not ethically permited to pay your medical bills with his money.
