Wrong person gets a ticket at accident

I was involve in a car accident i was not a fault the police gave me a ticket charges were drop but i'm beening sue by the other driver and her passenger the police at the the time took the info but the other cop didnt get all info i have two witnesss who testify that the other person hit me charges were drop by the judge can i sue the police department.

Sure, you could sue the police department but you certainly would not prevail on these facts.

If you're now being sued for damages by the other driver, you would be well advised to arrange for a consultation with an attorney to determine how you should best prepare and present your defense.(And, if you cannot handle it by yourself, then hire a lawyer who can.)
