Barb slips into Tonya�s office and downloads a copy of Tonya�s new software on a USB device she has with her. Barb plans to offer the software to Applesauce, Macro Software�s main competitor. How does this area of property, contract, tort, and criminal law apply to the facts?

I assume Tonya works for Macro Software and the stolen software was Macro's? Barb's act is theft and Applesauce would be the recepient of stolen property and maybe a co-conspirator in the theft. Barb would be liable for damages to Macro, Applesauce could be enjoined from using it and possibly also liable (depending on the facts)
