A supreme court case from another state might have value in persuading the courts in your state, but your state's courts would not be required to follow it. Whether or not your state's courts would find such an opinion persuasive depends on many factors including the quality of the legal argument, whether or not the legal point is similar or dissimilar to your situation, and whether or not there are other published court opinions that disagree with the case you are citing.
