60 day lease

cntctd my lndlrd to inform him

that i was no longer able to affrd

the rent due to the fct that i was

now on shrt trm disability

($317.20) and recieving a smll

% of my nrml incme.

Rnt is 850 a mnth. lndlrd did

not call bck. infrmed by his rep

tht i could submit a 30dy notice -

had multple witnessess to convo

wth indivdual. we submitted 30dy

notice by certified mail, on may1st

and where mved and out of house

by 27th day. actual lndlrd called

on 23rd and is saying that we owe

him for full amount of yr lease.

lndlrd says we have to find one

to sublet our lease. lease says

60days-due to moving was unsure

of where lease was until we had

already mved(re-read lease and it

states 60dy notice). we have

already moved out of old house and

into new apt. we have mother also

co-signed lease. tryng to figure out

wht my bst course of action is

and where i may find resources to

hlp. I wish to know whthr i

should allow him to take me to

court and deal with him there as

well as if there is a way from

preventing this from going against

my mothers credit. plse advise as

to wht course of actn
