My 20 year old daughter totaled her friends 1997 Toyota Camry. The car was covered with only liability insurance. Is my daughter legally obligated to repay the cost of the wrecked car or to pay for a replacement car?\nAndy

She should be responsible for paying no more than the wrecked car's FMV (Fair Market Value)at the time immediately prior to the accident.
