Abandoned easement

We gave easements to several companies 50 yrs. ago. Easement is now abandoned and property is being sold. Can these companies now charge us to sign off on the easements so we can sell?

Only if you agree to pay these companies for easements which have by now allegedly been abandoned by them. (If that were truly the case, there should be no need to pay them anything.)
