I want to add a friend to my deed as co-owner of the house in Virginia. How do I do that?

By means of a deed of gift, but be careful as you may later

regret it. (If so, you may then be sending a question to

this forum as to how to remove from the deed what has become a former friend and you will find to your chagrin that it will neither be easy nor cheap.)
