Getting back security deposit
My roomate and I payed a security deposit for house. Due to a problem we are not able to move into it. We are trying to get our deposit back but the rental copany wont give it back. We havent signed any paper work or a lease for the house. Can we get our money back?

You don't say why the rental company is refusing to return your deposit. Are they claiming that the rental unit was off the market for awhile. pending your move to take possesion of it, and, therefore, they're entitled to the deposit?
