Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia
Contract on house which has Trustee Sale
In Virginia, what happens to a house, that was a short sale. But has a contract on it.
But is also has a Trustee Sale imminent.
Will the original contract become null and void, at the Trustee Sale , or is it still legally binding?

Re: Contract on house which has Trustee Sale
Legally, it has to go to closing before the Trustee's sale, or the short sale is void. But most lenders will stop the foreclosure if they have approved the short sale.
