Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Countersuit on a mortgage foreclosure

Is it possible to bring suit against a mortgage holder if it begins legal proceedings against you for payment in full and you have documentation of your payment records to them and the critical error of mishandling payment was made by the mortgage holder? Are you entitled to more than the mortgage amount (I.E. restitution for harassing letters and telephone calls)?

Re: Countersuit on a mortgage foreclosure

order to have a credible basis for a lawsuit.
