Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia
My cousin is about to name me in a partition law suit, becasue I haven't signed the partition deed...the deed included my interest (2.55 acres of land) and some additional issues pertaining to other family members inappropriately obtaining deeds which is why I haven't signed it. Do I need an attorney for this level of lititgation and should I offer to sell my interest at market value?

Yes, see an attorney who is knowledgeable and experienced in real property
law matters and who can advise you on your issues before you decide to do
anything further.
