Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia
my daughter and I co-own a home, she lives in it but doesn't pay bills, i want her to move out and let me move in since i can pay the bills where she can't. how do I put her out? It's an estate home that belonged to my grandparents. Taxes are 3 years behind and mortgage is 4 months behind. I'm not going to pay bills just so she can live rent free and use the home for drug activity.

You can buyout her interest in the property but you can't
force her to move. As a co-owner of the property,
she has as much right as you to occupy it.
