Deed vs Mortgage - Who Owns?

I have a house with deed in my name. I need to refinance but I no longer make the same wage. If I use my boyfriend's salary to refinance, does that give him claim to my house?

I hope you contact an attorney before you proceed. You can't just "use" your boyfriend's salary, he would become a co-borrower on your loan. If you were unable to make the payments, the lender would expect him to pay. Is he going to do this without any interest in the property? What if the two of you break up? Given the risks and problems with mortgages , I hope you will consider contacting an attorney.
