deposit
I recently moved from an apartment and have not received my deposit or credit on my account, how long do they have to return it?

If your lease was under the VRLTA(Virginia Residential Landlord Tenant Act), the landlord has 45 days from the date of lease termination to return the security deposit to the tenant with an itemized statement showing credit for any interest accrued on the deposit as well as any deductions for any damages to the premises(chargeable to the tenant), unpaid late charges or rents, etc.
