Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I have a driveway that goes through my property. This driveway is also deeded for use only, to another landowner. Can I put up a gate with lock, and give a key to said other landowner?

Should be no problem as long as this other landowner has access to and use of this easement over your property.
