Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Estate executor accounting

The two executors of my grandfathers estate have not given any one in my family any sort of accounting for his estate. My question is is there any legal way to force her to open her books and allow us to view what is left in the account and a copy of the last will?

Re: Estate executor accounting

The executors must provide a final report with an accounting to the commissioner of accounts before the estate closes.(This report is due roughly 14 months after the estate opens.) The will should already be on file with the probate court which anyone is free to inspect.
