Can I evict my room mate

I rented an apartment and my name is the only name on the lease, I pay all the bills, but I let someone live with me rent free for almost four months now. Can I just put them out, or do I have to evict them? What can I do if he threatened my life, and he's on probation?

Yes, you can "just put them out", as they have no rights whatsoever as tenants---or anything else, given your description of the facts.

But be careful; do not do or say anything that

might provoke a violent attack. If necessary, contact the local law enforcement agency to

have the deadbeats removed.
