Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

My Father was a tenant on a property from last 35 years.He did not left any will.My brother was staying with him.Now if he sells the property do myself and my sister have any rights

No, not if your father never owned this particular property. (And, leasing in

order to own via a land contract would not be sufficient if he died before

paying everything off owed under the contract for deed.)

Furthermore, if you father never actually gained ownership of this property,

I do not see how this brother of yours would be in any position

to sell it (legally).
