Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia
In my father's will he left his home to my brother and sister and I. My sister and I want to sell and he doesn't. He is presently living in the house. Can he be made to sell?

Yes, but you'll have to file what's called a partition lawsuit in the local circuit court where the property is located and request that a judicial sale be ordered in lieu thereof (if a partition is not feasible) and that the proceeds of the sale be divided appropriately among the parties.
You will find, unfortuantely, that this type of litigation is usually neither cheap
nor quick.
