Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

My fiance and I purchased a townhouse in Virginia-things have gone south, she refuses to put the house up for sale and is living in the house. Can I file a partition lawsuit and what all is involved?

Yes, you could hire an attorney to file a partition lawsuit in the local

circuit court where the property is located, but it would be much cheaper

as well as quicker for one of the parties to buyout the interest of the other without having to resort to litigation.to resolve the matter.
