I filed a unlawful detainer action on my tenant what happens now

I haw filed a unlawful detainer action on my tenant that is refusing to move out. She have not payed rent and we have no contract. What happens from now? we got a court date of mid jan. But if she moves out before that what will happen? thank you for your answer.

If your nonpaying tenant moves out before the January hearing date, in addition to the writ of posession, you should ask the court to award you a judgment for all unpaid rents due and owing as well as any other recoverable costs associated with the aborted tenancy such as any damages to the premises which are attributable to this tenant who has uncerimoniously "flown the coop", so to speak.
