Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Filed a voluntary foreclosure, sold at auction at 20,000 and owe 60,000 and the finance company wants the difference. Is that legal in doing a voluntary foreclosure in the state of Virginia? How do I get these people to leave me alone if not?

Yes, it's legal in the Commonwealth and this finance company may soon be

pursuing you for what's known as a DEFICIENY JUDGMENT and if they

succeed in getting such a judgment against you, bankruptcy may be your

only way out.
