foreclosure help

purchased home in winchester virginia june 23 2005. 80/20 loan.many problems refinancing .home worth 181,000 amount owed is 140,000.home. foreclosure sale date is dec.11 2006 for $112,000.resolution department at mortgage company wants $5900.can i file for bankrupcy.are there any other solutions.employed full time for 9 years at same place.

I'm not sure what you are saying as far as the numbers, but it is likely that a Chapter 13 bankruptcy filing will allow you to cure the arrears and avoid foreclosure. You need to see a bankruptcy lawyer immediately.
