Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

A friend and I bought a house together nearly a year ago. She is impossible to live with and is unwilling to sell the house. Is there any way I can get my money out of the house?

If she is unwilling to buy out your interest in this property, then your only

alternative is to file suit in your local circuit court to partition this property and in lieu thereof a judicial sale of such and a division of the proceeds therefrom.
