Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I have a friend who was 'terminated' from a booth rent position. She received no notice and the salon owner did not let her work for a week before terminating her. Effectively killing her schedule and jeopardizing her clientele. I would like to know what legal options we have for this?
