If a Mother puts in writing that she wishes to leave her land to her 6 living children many years before she dies and one of her daughter's dies two months before her, does that mean that, daughter's children are not entilted to their mother's share?

No, the deceased daughter's children should be able to inherit equally (per stirpes) under these circumstances what would've been their mother's share.
