My HOA was about to put a lien on my house for having a dog and cat, but i sold it before they could do so. Now they are trying to file a judgement on me. Is there anyway for me to get around this???

Gather careful evidence which can be presented in court to refute their claim for any damages incurred by the association as a result of your cat and dog being present on your premises.
