Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I own a home that is titled to both my brother's name and mine, but to which the mortage is only in my name. Can I force him, legally, to agree to the sale of this property, so I can rid myself of the financial resposibility? Located in Virginia.

No, you cannot as long as he is listed on the deed/title as a co-owner

of the property with you.
