Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia
Homeowners Association Architectural Standards and Guideline
Our neighbor planted five evergreen trees on the side of their yard in a roll that will eventually block our view of the tree line and will grow in our property about 18 feet and 60 feet tall or more. There isnt must property of that side of our home or the neighbor. Our association didnt approve the neighbors tree it first, but know the trees are approved. The association said Architectural standards and guideline werent correct by law and they were going to be revised CC&R so this wont happen in the future. The association lawyer said that he would lose the case if he took this to court.
My question is do we have any recourse.
Thank you

Re: Homeowners Association Architectural Standards and Guideline
Probably not, but you might want to consider getting the opinion of another lawyer on the matter who's familiar with HOA laws and regulations and zoning and land use law in general.
