Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Late fee and Lot rent raised

I was laid off from my job and since

then I have been late on my lot

rent. My landlord raised the late

fee from $5.00 to $35.00. Then the

next month he raised the lot rent

from $125 to $150. I am the only

person that this was done to. Is

this legal and if not what should I

do.

Probably, depends upon what your lease agreement for the lot says in regard to these issues.
