lease agreements

owners of rental property are changing to a new property managment company, they are requiring us to sign a new lease wth new terms,wouldn't they have to do accoding to the current lease dates.I read our current lease and it does say renewal is automatic, I would think it is still valid

I would need to to review the lease to be sure. However, generally speaking, a change of ownership or management does not terminate existing lease terms.
