I purchased home jointly. Co-owner has 2 liens on property. A hospital bill and child support. As of this month child support is being taken from partner's paycheck monthly. My question is: In order to refinance, can we have the child support lien removed before full payment is made? Partial Release? How do I go about doing this and what info. is needed? Hospital bill is at least 7 years old. Can this be removed without payment?

Both judgment liens will have to be paid from the refinance proceeds unless the judgment creditors consent to remove them or subordinate.
