Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Limit on Late Fees

I own one single family home that I rent. I would like to know if there is a written law that limits the amount I can charge daily to my tennants after they are beyond the grace period stipulated on the one-year lease. The current late fee stipulates late fees to be charged after 5 calendar days from the due date.

Re: Limit on Late Fees
