Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I live in a condo and have a mortgage on it. I am 70 years old and would like to add my daughter to the deed but not the mortgage. Can I go to the county here in Norfolk Va. and take care of that and in case of my death she would keep the payments up on my mtg and get a clear deed once its paid for. Thank you.

Better first have your attorney review your mortgage(deed of trust)

to insure that such an action on your part would not trigger a due on sale clause or other adverse action against you by the lender.
