Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

my neighbor and i share the road that leads to our respective homes, but he continuosly drives these humongous tractor trailers home causing holes in the driveway and does not want to fix them. aren't we supposed to share the repairs of the road since we both use it? i've tried talking to him & he says he will share in the expense, but doesn't. what are my rights as a landowner?

Hard to say without having some information as to the legal status of this

particular road, i.e., where is the property line with respect to this road and if it

wholly owned by one of you, does the other have an easement to use it, and

is it recorded in a deed, and, if not, what gave rise to such easement, etc.
