Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

non-disclosure of polybutylene pipes by the seller/realator

do we have a way of getting out of our contract before we close on the purchase of a house for not being told that the house has these type of plumbing?

Is there a 3-day timeframe to cancel a contract once it is signed with the intent to purchase before closing occurs?

We have been trying to get out of the contract, but our realator said that we cannot, is this true?

This is not likely grounds to cancel. If you asked and were misinformed, that may be different. I suggest you have an attorney review the contract.
