Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

non-judicial foreclosure

I want to file a notice of default with the recorder's office in Suffolk county in VA. They do not know what I am talking about. Virginia is a non-judicial foreclosure state. If I order your package, will it tell me how to record this ??? so I can ''teach'' the county employees? I am very frustrated with govt employees - I need to do this ASAP! Thanks

Re: non-judicial foreclosure

I'm not sure what "package" you are talking about, nor what kind of "Notice of Default" you want to record, or why. Are you a lender on real estate? If so, and if there is a default, there is no need to record anything until the trustee's deed after the foreclosure. Whatever it is you want to do, see a lawyer, because it is apparent that there is something about this you don't understand.
