Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Nuisance

I moved into a dense residential neighborhood with nothing but homes and one building that I thought was rented out to family events but after three years of being here I realized this building is nothing more than a rental for drunk loud parties!

This is not zoned for any busienss and yet after talking to the Sheriff, the county administrator and the council man I found no one wants to uphold the law or our legal rights?

What can I do? I hate to have to pay a lawyer to uphold the rights that are so badly being dumped on here on the neighbors in this solely neighborhood?

Re: Nuisance

You may be able to bring a viable claim in your local general district court against the owner(s) of this property for allowing a private nuisance

to perpetuates its annoying presence to your detriment and, perhaps, to that of other neighbors in the area.
