Do we owe PAST HOA fees on a house we bought but there was no disclosure anywhere in the paperwork or by anyone involved in the sale (past owner or RE agent) that an HOA even existed?

I would first contact this past owner as well as his agent to determine whether

this former owner would be willing to take care of these undisclosed fees, and, if not,

I would then recommend that you obtain a copy of the rules governing

this HOA and arrange to discuss the matter with a local attormey who handles

real estate transactions to determine what legal remedy (if any) may be available

to you for the situation described,
