Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

As part of a mortgage/refi application, I am charged a fee for a credit report. Shouldn't the lender provide me a copy of said report? Here I am providing all of this very personal and financial information plus I am paying for them to obtain the report, shouldn't they be required to share it with me? Thank you.

So, what do the procedures regarding the mortgage refinance application

process have to say about it (if anything). If there is no reference to this issue, I suspect there is nothing to prohibit such practice by the lender.
