i am past due on my rent this month because i lost my job on fri (8-13-10) my landlord came by to give me a stating that i have to pay the full amount by thursday (8-19-10) or i have to leave the premises legally did he give me enough time

If you're referring to the "5 day pay or quit" notice that was apparently served

upon you according to the requirements of the law, then the answer must

be, yes, the landlord has given you "enough time".
