Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Payment of rent

My lease states that ''After notice required by law, i the event the Landlord does not receive from the tenant any payment of rent or other charge by the tenth day of the month for which it is due, the Tenant waives any notice to quit...'' My question is, if I have paid $200 towards my rent, can I be evicted?

Re: Payment of rent

The payment referenced means full, not partial payment. If you have made only partial payment,

technically, you're in monetary breach of the lease, and, yes, you could be evicted.
