You place an offer on a home.

1. How long should it take to get a response to your offer?

2. 9 (nine) days later, with no response to your offer, you find out the property has been turned over to an auction company.

3. What do we do and do we have any recourse?

There's nothing to be done (in my view) under the factual circumstances described and you are without viable recourse.
